Tibet Culture Tour |
 This tour offers you some of the most amazing
landscape on Earth and it is an Adventure trip
for travelers on a limited time & Budget. The
Friendship Highway is an important artery of
commerce, it is also Tibet’s most popular
tourist route. Enjoy fabulous mountain scenery
enroute, visit mystical Buddhist monasteries of
Tashilungpo at Shigatse, the Kumbum Stupa at
Gyantse, and drive past the beautiful Turquoise
lake. This route gives you a glimpse of both the
Tibetan and Nepali culture. We'll pass small
Tibetan settlements, nomadic herdsmen wandering
across the wide arid plains and awe-inspiring
mountain peaks. Equally as fascinating is the
wealth of cultural interest and we will have
plenty of opportunity to explore this side of
Tibet, both in Lhasa and the other towns we pass
through on our journey. |

Days 01

KATHMANDU - LHASA - TSEDANG
Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa and transfer to Tsedang.
Afternoon tour of Yambu Lhakhang and Cha Duk
Monastery. Overnight at hotel in Tsedang. |

CULTURAL TOUR TO TSEDANG
Visit Samye Monastery and the valley of the ‘cradle
of Tibetan civilization’. Overnight at hotel in
Tsedang. |

Days 03

TSEDANG - GYANTSE
Drive to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake. Later in the
afternoon visit Khumbum Stupa and Phalkor Monastery.

GYANTSE - LHASA
Drive via Shalu to Xigatse. Tour of Tashilhunpo
